Anything Goes at Sweet Stampin'

Oooh, has anyone else been daft enough to click on the Upgrade Now button?  How can something look so different and scary!  I know I'll get used to it but I'm not a great one for change for the sake of it.  I confess to being a great believer in If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Anyway, you didn't come over here to hear me ranting on about progress and technology did you (no, really, you didn't) so here is my card for this week's SWEET STAMPIN' CHALLENGE

Ingredients for this card are:
Stamped Image: Wild Rose Studio - Feeding The Birds
Medium:  Distress Inks
Papers:  Prima - Meadowlark, and DCWV cardstock
Border Punch: Martha Stewart
Corner Dies: Cheery Lynn

Hugs, Sxx

PS. I haven't dared click on the new blogger thing - I know it's going to really confuse me!

Yes me, I figured it's going to change anyway so better get used to it. I think I'm getting there, took me ages to work out where the dashboard was though. Love your card Squirrel the image and corner dies are fab. Debs xx

Rant away, 'cause I'm right next to you on my own little soapbox. I wouldn't mind improvements... if they didn't always new-and-improve my favorite features out of products. THE reason I like a product is bound to be the first thing they seem to "improve" away. My favorite translucent file folders - now frosted. Scent of my soap - no longer a fresh scent, now it's an improved floral. And software is the worst. Boo. Hiss. More user friendly, my butt; I was using it just fine, thank you. I'm not resistant to change, just change without added value. Grrrr.

As for the card, love the soft colors, oops colours, the borders and corners, and that just a glint of gold touch is oh so pretty. =)

I'm off now to stick my head under a pillow until someone comes to improve the pillow stuffing and give it a fresh, new look! =P

I NEVER click the upgrade now button. I only upgrade after I'm dragged kicking and screaming into it.... my truck still has a cassette player, my phones still plug into the walls.... nope, can't make me.

That said, your card is very sweet. I like the coloring and the delicate punches. I really like the corner flourishes. Corner die cuts are the rage these days. Now THAT I might upgrade to!
