Never Use Glitter With The Fan On

Afternoon all!  How are we today?  For those of you still struggling on in the heat, you have my sympathy, but thankfully, she says gloating, it is about ten degrees cooler here.  What a difference it makes - I have spent all week struggling to breathe and coughing and spluttering, but although I am still full of cold I can at least manage to get some air into my lungs - which always helps!

And because it's cooler, although not cold, someone thought it would be a good idea to have a pork roast for dinner, lol.  Only a Squirrel huh?  Anyhoo, it is bearable in the studio so I thought I would have a go at three challenges:

And here is my card:

This stamp is from one of the Kanban sets I managed to grab from Funky Kits
Painted in Distress Inks (ReInkers)
Sentiment is from the same set
Matting layer is Dovecrafts Back To Basics Christmas
And the glitter - yes, I really did have the fan on - is Art Institute "Fairie" yellow

The joint is done, Vince is settled down on Toad's knee to watch this afternoon's penultimate stage of the Tour de France, so all I need to do is put some washing on the line, clear up the surplus glitter, and then sit down with a cuppa myself.

Hugs, Squirrel xx

Snap Squirrel, roast pork here today too, will be the first time I've cooked in over a week!!!!!
Although the day was a tad cooler the night was still very sticky and I gave up at silly o'clock and got up.
Another great day on 'le Tour' and I will be watching the triumphant ride tonight as, no doubt, you will be.
I love your very sweet card, you do this style so well :o)

How awful to have a cold in this heat - I am glad things are a bit more comfortable for you this weekend. Much as we love to see the sun, I think we are all glad of a little break from it!

I love you sweet card and had to laugh at the title of your post - I could just picture it!

Beautiful card honey. Hope you enjoyed your roast, but I nearly choked on my coffee when I read the title of your post. My trick is to blow off the excess glitter from my card, whilst forgetting that the tray of glitter is underneath my card!! It makes for a sparkly carpet, and the cat had glitter in his fur for a week too. :0)

Fabulous CAS card Squirrel!
We have been eating outside to avoid overheating! There are other perils though in the shape of the various mini beasts that are everywhere!
Hope you got the glitter cleared up - that made me laugh!

It is hard to use embossing powder with the fan on as well. My fan has a remote so that is awesome, but I still have to haul my butt out of my chair to turn off the ceiling fan. That is a nice holiday card. I tell myself I need to start holiday cards and then I tell myself what if the zombie apocalypse happens next month? I'll have wasted my time!
